The Joy of Reading at my Elementary School

What a fun and rewarding experience reading my book, The Adventures of the Missing Sock, to several different classes (3rd/4th, 5th, and 7th/8th), this past week. The setting was the library that I learned to read in, at Capital Day School (the school I attended 1st-8th grades), which was nostalgic. The students has insightful questions and comments about missing socks, their personal dreams, and how to write a book themselves. I felt like I came full circle, from where I was groomed as a student and gained a love for books and learning, to then sharing my book with this generation of students. Thanks!
